Developing Your Psychic Abilities

Before I knew that I was psychic, I did not study to become a psychic. I just worshipped and praised God in church and at home. I did not even know what a psychic or a prophet was. I did not find out until I was much older. As a child, I would tell people things that I saw. I did not even know what a vision was back then. I had no idea what a psychic reading was or even why prophecy existed. I just spoke my mind.

As I grew up, I began to read many spiritual books and I got connected with spiritual people that loved Jesus. Over time, I realized that I had a prophetic gift. At least, that is what it was called. Today, I don’t mind if someone calls me a clairvoyant, psychic or a prophet. To me, it’s my gift. I am happy to say that my prophetic gift grew in me over time. It happens when you develop a close relationship with Jesus Christ. Something inside of you just begins to connect with Jesus. I never wanted to be a prophet. Till this day, I don’t care which gift God gives to me. I just use what he gives to me and I pray that Jesus gives me more gifts.

Prophetic gifts are meant to be grown when you develop your relationship with God. How does it grow? It grows when you decide to put your own thoughts, mind and attitude aside and begin living for Jesus. When you do this, your relationship with God grows. I talk to many people each day that do not feel connected to God as I do. I wish that everyone felt the closeness to God that I feel. I believe that anyone can develop a relationship with God if they read and follow the Holy Bible. Prophets know God well and they also know the word of God. You cannot be a good prophet unless you know scripture. I ask God to speak through me in order to help others. My gift is hard to describe. However, I have been doing it since I was a small child and in return, God gives me an eye for the ministry. Ministering to the souls of the world is a huge responsibility. It is something that I did not choose. Instead, it came to me as my relationship grew with Jesus.

Not everyone is called to be a prophetic minister. Not everyone is called to be a pastor or an evangelist. Finding your true calling in life takes time and practice. Keep praying to Jesus ad he will reveal to you what you should be doing right now in your life.
